Water samples must be collected on the same day they are taken to Addy Lab.

Residential samples must be taken from an inside tap.

Do not rinse the sample container, it contains a fine white powder.

Remove any screens, aerators, or any other devices. Run cold water for 1 minute.

Do not open the sample bottle until you are ready to take the sample.

Remove the seal from the sample bottle cap. Do not touch the insides of the bottle cap or the bottle neck.

Fill the bottle with cold water from the tap exactly to the 100 ml line. (The lower line on the bottle.)

Replace the bottle’s cap and refrigerate the sample until you transport the sample and the slip to AddyLab.
